Cresa Washington DC recently promoted Jonathan Harms, Aaron Berkey, and William Tidwell to Principal. The three professionals were previously Senior Vice Presidents at the firm. Cresa is the world’s largest corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and specializes in the delivery of integrated services.

Harms, who has been with Cresa since 2004, is responsible for strategic planning, financial analysis, business terms structuring, and negotiating transactions. He was recognized as a Top Producer by Cresa in 2014 and received the company’s Largest Deal Award in 2010 and 2014. Harms received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC, and a Masters in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He is a volunteer at Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, a member of the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater Washington, D.C., Cresa’s Emerging Leaders Committee, and a Washington, D.C. resident.

A LEED-Accredited Professional, Berkey specializes in comprehensive strategic planning, global account management, lease negotiations, and mitigation of the costs and risk associated with growth stage technology companies. He was named one of Cresa’s Top Producers in 2014 and was the recipient of the company’s Collaboration Award in 2015. A native Bostonian, Berkey received a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University prior to relocation to the District. A resident of Fairfax County, VA, he is a member of Cresa’s Education and Culture Committees, the Charitable Giving Committee, and is a past member of the National Strategic Leadership Council.

Tidwell, with nearly 20 years of industry experience, joined Cresa in 2009 after serving as a Senior Director of Brokerage Services in the McLean, VA, office of Cushman & Wakefield for 13 years. During his career he has been responsible for transactions in excess of 8 million square feet, both domestically and internationally. Tidwell has been the recipient of many awards from Cresa, including Top Producer from 2012-2015. Additionally, he has been recognized multiple times as one of the Top 10 Leasing Brokers by the Commercial Real Estate Brokers Association of Washington DC. Also a resident of Fairfax County, VA, he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO.

Cresa has area offices in the District of Columbia; Baltimore, MD; Bethesda, MD; and McLean, VA.
