I engaged Gary to help me market a very challenging start-up venture—an online arts gallery. To launch this new enterprise, I needed a strategic vision, prudent positioning, and innovative execution, all delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. I also needed someone flexible enough to deal with a family business and many associated demands, including my feedback as an artist. Gary fit the bill. He personally directed all the marketing efforts and team players—including webmaster, graphic artist, and other vendors—to help manage our launch.
His efforts started with developing our company name and tagline and graphic identity. He then orchestrated the development of our beautiful website, which involved considerable work on the front and back ends, creating our sales promotion material, managing our digital and social media (including email marketing program), and doing media relations.
This venture has required a great deal of patience and persistence. Gary has been responsive, reassuring, and easy to work with, even after-hours. I thank him not only for applying his considerable insight and technical skills, but also for his people skills, his humor, his flexibility, and his friendship.
